For a more personal and tailor-made photography tuition day, we offer a one-to-one service in a location of your choice. This service is ideal for the complete beginner who is struggling to get to grips with their new digital camera and feels they would feel out of place on a traditional photography workshop or those who are getting lost in a normal classroom situation.

We can work on location at a coastal, countryside or urban location or you can choose a location nearer to your home if you wish*.

 

    We will cover the following key skills:

  • Understanding your Digital SLR- controls, features and functions
  • Exposure- shutter speeds, apertures, metering and histograms
  • Composition- foreground, rule-of-thirds, etc
  • Depth-of-Field- what is it and how can you control it?
  • Light- How times of the day affects you pictures
  • Filters- Different types and when to use them
