I’m a landscape and travel photographer…or I used to be!

I used to write and supply images for magazines. I used to write and illustrate articles covering a range of photo techniques for top photo titles, including Amateur Photographer, Outdoor Photography and many others that have now sadly folded.

My UK travel writing has also been widely published in such titles as Heritage, In Britain, Realm and many others that have now too folded!

My images used to be sold worldwide, either direct or via online agencies including Panoramic Images, Alamy and Getty…before the bottom fell out of this market as well!

So, now…

I’m a photographer.

I like shooting in the landscape, as well as the urban landscape.

I prefer gritty rather than pretty. I avoid the honeypot locations and prefer to shoot everything in between.

I now teach, I educate, I inspire and I’m often to be found on-location talking to a small camera making videos.

My e6 Subscription evolved from my photography writing, as well as my very first video shoot with LEE Filters. Appearing on YouTube for the first time back in 2015, revealed to me that vlogging was just the starting point.

My photography workshops evolved from the desire to offer a range of on-location tuition in locations where no one else was going, in a way no one else was doing.

My online photography course again evolved from my photography writing and the experience I gained shooting landscape and travel photography professionally for 20 years. I feel I pioneered online courses in landscape photography.

I love photography. I love to teach, I love to inspire. Maybe, I can help you too in some way.
