Newcastle Quayside night

Saturday 23rd October 2010

3 places available

Price reduction. Now just £75

The Quayside at Newcastle has a wonderful mix of architecture, stunning bridges and of course the River Tyne itself. For this workshop we will tackle the various subjects along the river during the best light in the afternoon and then be around to practice some night photography as the buildings and bridges become illuminated after the sun has set.

During the workshop we will cover all techniques used in the urban environment and for architectural photography. We will discuss the use of tripods and how to achieve correct exposures for night photography.

The day starts at 12.30am and finishes at around 6.30-7pm, with a break for late lunch.

Lunch is not included so please bring your own food and drink requirements or we can stop for a something to eat at a cafe or pub on the quayside.

You will also need to bring:

  • Film/Digital SLR or bridge digital camera, whichever you use, we cater for all types
  • A range of lenses from wide angle to telephoto
  • A tripod is essential and filters will be useful if you have any
  • Your cameras instruction manual may be useful
  • Waterproof clothing and sensible footware.
