Castle Howard

Saturday 2nd October 2010

Fully booked

Price reduction. Now just £75

Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, Castle Howard is the magnificent stately home designed by John Vanburgh. The landscaped grounds contain an assortment of lakes, fountains, temples and follies all of which provide great subjects for your camera.

During the workshop we will cover all techniques required for architectural photography, as well as the use of different lenses for perspective and how apertures can be used for creativity.

The day starts at 10am and finishes at around 4pm, with a break for lunch.

Lunch is not included in the price, so please bring your own food and drink requirements or we can stop for something in the Courtyard area. Admission to Castle Howard is not included in the price of the workshop.

You will also need to bring:

  • Film/Digital SLR or bridge digital camera, whichever you use, we cater for all types
  • A range of lenses from wide angle to telephoto
  • A tripod and filters will be useful if you have any
  • Your cameras instruction manual may be useful
  • Waterproof clothing and sensible footware as the ground maybe wet.
