New additions to the family
As you will see in the picture below, I have been splashing out on the latest hi-tech models to add to my camera gear! Alongside my favourite Holga, we now have the Fisheye2 and the Diana with super-wide lens.
I dragged myself off to some of my favourite seaside towns namely, Brighton and Blackpool to give them a test run and also spent a weekend in London shooting the sights. In their honour, the Holga gallery has now been renamed the Toy Cameras gallery, to allow for the several types of models in one place and the results of these recent trips can be seen here. I am also about to add another couple of models to the clan, namely a Vivitar Super Wide & Slim and I’m checking Ebay on regular basis to get my hands on an Olympus XA2 and Lomo LCA-2
I’ve had great fun using these new cameras and have been really pleased with the results. As with the Holga, going back to using film and shooting without the constraints of a tripod and heavy camera bag has been like a breath of fresh air. However, normal service with my ‘proper cameras’ will resume next time.
